The Cincinnati Gardens.

Opening in 1949, the arena which seated 11,000 patrons, became Cincinnati's premiere indoor venue. Modeled after Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, this area would go through history playing host to professional basketball, indoor soccer, concerts, Richard Nixon, Elvis, boxing, roller derby, monster trucks, and so much more. Perhaps though, the Gardens most interesting event history is rooted in Ice Hockey.

Crosley - Part 2: The Return.

Two weeks ago Tron2.0, Ram23, and I had the opportunity to re-visit the Crosley Building again. Tron2.0 first explored this place in March 2007, now almost a year later we returned with Ram23 and discovered a bit more about the former tenants. Edit: This article was published in 2008, a few years after we had first explored this building in the summer of 2007. Originally it linked to our first photographs, posted on "UER." Homes.
With no tenants.
Vacant houses.
Houses that I would have rather not have had to photograph. Because these houses were once the homes of my neighbors. For close to 19 years of my I was surrounded on both sides of my families property by great neighbors who will be missed very much. Next to them; more vacant houses, that are also awaiting demolition. They were home to best friends, people I hardly knew, and people who gave out great Halloween candy growing up in the 90's.
