Last Day of Summer

A few quick photos made on the "Last Day of Summer" in 2017, wandering some tracks in my neighborhood after a run. Since these trains only seem to run and make copious amounts of noise in the middle of the night, you can get a pretty good look at their details and monikers in the early evening.

  1. Hello Ronny,

Good shots as usual. But how could you miss the footprint of the - now gone - B & O Oakley station? See Google maps below:

Or just search: < Historic Cincinnati Oakley Station > then "Images"

There're a lot more stories that need to be told. Live long enough and you'll do it, if anyone can.

    Best wishes,
    Nick Rechtin

    1. Hey Nick,

I totally forgot that building existed and I run over that platform probably 3-5 times a week. I need to check it out!
